Course Description :

The course provides an understanding of how to manage the finances of a company. After completing this course students are expected to have the ability to make correct financial decisions. The first part will describe the scope of financial management, financial institutions, and financial markets. The second part will explain how to calculate the fair value of securities in the form of bonds and stocks. The third section describes how to calculate relevant cash flow in the capital budgeting process and the techniques used in making long-term investment decisions. The fourth part describes how to measure the cost of capital. The fifth section describes leverage and making optimal capital structure decisions. The sixth part describes leasing in making funding decisions. The last section discusses dividend policy.
