Course description :

Introduction to Business course is a compulsory subject for all S1 Economics students. In general understanding and appreciation of business that is managed by individuals and business entities that are able to improve the nation’s economy. This course introduces the meaning and importance of real business understanding, managing a business so that it has value, an influencing environment, alternatives to managing it, developing business towards globalization, managing parties based on organizational hierarchy, production problems, marketing, finance, human resources in business. It is hoped that the understanding and appreciation of the Introductory Business material will be useful for students in understanding more specific material from business in the future.
